Due to COVID-19 we have to reschedule the workshop on the ways to improve accessibility of public transport services for people with disabilities which we planned to organize together with DG REGIO Communities of Practitioners.
In preview of this workshop, we continue our online discussion. Therefore we invite you to join us for the second webinar on transport accessibility on 3 December, at 10-12 CEST. During this session, we would like to focus on the subject Accessible Sound for the European Transport.

The aim of the workshop is to exchange of knowledge and experience in ensuring transport accessibility for people with different needs in EU, especially for people with reduce mobility, within projects implemented with EU funds.
During the workshops participants will discuss and compare experience of Member States in three main issues:
- Public policy – what kind of acts and regulations are in force in different countries. How it works, what kind of institutions are responsible for organizing a transport for people with disabilities, finance policy etc.
- Implementation of the projects - examples of projects financed from EU funds that can boast of good solutions.
- Technical solutions – review of technical and operational solutions which can be useful for people with disabilities, implementation of Commission Regulation (EU) No 1300/2014 of 18 November 2014 on the technical specifications for interoperability relating to accessibility of the Union's rail system for persons with disabilities and persons with reduced mobility, etc.
It is open to Managing Authorities, Intermediary Bodies and Audit Authority dealing with the topic of the workshop indicated above.
