PRIVACY POLICY OF THE CENTRE FOR EU TRANSPORT PROJECTS

This document will let you find out who is the administrator of your personal data, for what purpose, to what extent and for what period of time they will be processed. You will also find out who we can share your data with and on what terms, as well as your rights in relation to the processing of personal data, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council from April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC, the GPDR in short.

WHO IS THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE PERSONAL DATA?

The administrator, i.e. the entity that decides how your personal data will be used, is the Centre for EU Transport Projects, with its registered off ice in Warsaw, pl. Europejski 2, 00 – 844 Warsaw.

A person responsible for personal data protection, i.e. the Personal Data Inspector, has been appointed at the CEUTP, and can be contacted:

HOW DID WE OBTAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We have obtained them when you registered your account in order to read the "CEUTP Bulletin" or when you used our website, i.e. www.cupt.gov.pl

DO YOU HAVE TO PROVIDE US WITH YOUR DATA?

The provision of data by you is voluntary, but necessary for the proper provision of the "CEUTP Bulletin" service or the use of the website www.cupt.gov.pl.

If for some reason you do not provide the personal data that are necessary for reading the "CEUTP Bulletin", you will not be able to use this service.

Each use of the website www.cupt.gov.pl involves the registration of cookies.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We process your personal data on the basis of a voluntary consent given when registering the provision of the "CEUTP Bulletin" service and the acceptance of cookies in order to:

  • contact you, for informational and promotional purposes conducted by the CEUTP through the "CEUTP Bulletin",
  • save data to cookies when the website www.cupt.gov.pl is browsed in order to make monthly/annual reports on the basis of which the website traffic figures are determined,
  • store data for archiving purposes, and ensuring accountability (proving that we comply with our legal obligations).

You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data in electronic form at any time in the same way as you have expressed it. We will process your personal data until you withdraw your consent.

FOR HOW LONG DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?

We will process your data as quickly as possible. If you have consented to the processing for a specific purpose, we will process your personal data until you revoke your consent.

WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH?

We do not share your information with third parties. We do not transfer your data to third countries. An exception to this rule is made when sharing is necessary in order to provide a service. The recipients of your data may be software vendors.

In special cases, your data may be made available to entities authorized to do so under generally applicable law (e.g. law enforcement authorities). Any request for access is carefully investigated by us and data is only transferred if we conclude as a result of this analysis that there is a valid and effective legal basis to request that your data be disclosed to these entities.

At the same time, you must know that we use the help of external entities to carry out some of the tasks related to the functioning and maintenance of the website www.cupt.gov.pl. In such a case, we entrust personal data to third parties for a specific purpose, still remaining the administrator of your data and being responsible for their security.

WHAT ARE YOUR DATA PROCESSING RIGHTS TOWARDS THE CEUTP?

Due to the fact that you entrust us with your personal data, in accordance with the provisions of the GPDR, you have the right to:

  • request rectification of the data: if you notice that your data are incorrect or incomplete,
  • Request the removal of the data: Your request will be met by us without delay, unless we are legally obliged to further process your data, unless we are legally obliged to fulfill an obligation, or unless your personal data is necessary for us to establish, pursue or defend claims. Your data will not be deleted if:
    -
    are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed,
    -
    we processed them on the basis of your consent, which you have withdrawn, and there is no other legal basis for processing the data,
    -
    you have objected to the processing of your data in pursuit of a legitimate interest of the administrator, and at the same time there are no other circumstances that justify the further processing of the data,
    -
    the personal data have been processed in an unlawful manner,
    -
    personal data must be deleted due to an obligation laid down by law.
  • a demand that the processing of your data be restricted: if you notice that your data are incorrect - you may request that the processing of your data be restricted for a period sufficient to allow us to verify the accuracy of the data; if your data are unlawfully processed, but you do not want them to be deleted; if we no longer need your data but may need it in order to defend or pursue your claims; or if you object to the processing of your data until we have established that legitimate grounds on our part override the ground for objection;
  • a request for transfer of data: if your data are processed on the basis of your consent or an agreement concluded with you and if the processing is carried out automatically
  • your personal data is processed for statistical purposes and your objection is justified by the specific situation in which you find yourself.

If you make a request to exercise the rights listed above, the Administrator will comply with the request without undue delay, however no later than one month from the date of receipt of your request.

You have the right to make a complaint in relation to the processing of your personal data by us to the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (address: ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

The administrator informs that the technical and organizational measures implemented by them provide sufficient guarantees for the processing of your personal data, in accordance with the requirements specified in the GPDR, and they duly protect your rights in this respect.

FINAL PROVISIONS

This Privacy Policy shall enter into force on May 25, 2018.

The Administrator may amend and supplement the provisions of the Privacy Policy in accordance with the needs resulting from the change of the conditions of processing of your personal data (e.g. resulting from the change of applicable law). You will be informed of any changes or additions to this Privacy Policy by a relevant notice posted on the Administrator's website, and in the event of significant changes you may also be informed separately by being sent an appropriate notice to the e-mail address you provided.
