AccessibilityLAB meeting: Equal opportunities in public transport
As part of the “AccessibilityLAB” series, we are pleased to invite you to a webinar entitled “Equal Opportunities in Public Transport and EU Funds,” which will take place on July 2, 2025.
Public transport accessible to all is not only a legal obligation, but above all, an investment in an inclusive community. EU funds offer real opportunities to finance such solutions, and our webinar will help you effectively implement equality principles.
During the meeting, we will discuss key issues such as accessibility of public transport for people with disabilities and best practices for implementing inclusive solutions. We will explain the operation of applicable legal requirements and accessibility standards in line with EU regulations. Finally, we will provide practical tips on designing and implementing inclusive solutions, which may prove helpful during the implementation of EU-funded projects.
We invite representatives of local and regional governments, public transport managers, and current beneficiaries of European funds to the meeting. Anyone interested in accessibility and inclusiveness in transport is welcome.
Registration information and technical details can be found in the dedicated event tab.
The webinar agenda is included below.

Digital transportation without barriers: what is it really like?
The digitization of public transportation has enormous potential to level the playing field. It can make travel, route planning and ticketing easier – or it can create new barriers. On Anti-Discrimination Day, we remind you: digital accessibility is a viable tool for inclusion.

European Funds, the European Accessibility Act, accessible bus stops and public transport – topics that may seem technical, in practice are the answer to the needs of millions of passengers. It is to these issues that we dedicated the 13th meeting organised as part of the Accessibility LAB series.
