We get up from behind our desks: CEUTP on Via Carpatia (S19) – a visit to the Lublin section of the EU investment.
CEUTP staff from the Department of Environmental Protection visited the Lublin section of the S19 (Via Carpatia) expressway, an investment co-financed with EU funds. In the field, they inspected solutions for nature protection, including animal crossings and an ecoduct in the Janów Forest.

Bottleneck Relief and Safer Regional Route – PLN 750 Million for S10 Construction
General Directorate of National Roads and Highways collected 750 million zlotys of funding from the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021-2027 (EFICE) program for the construction of more than 50 km of the S10 expressway between Bydgoszcz and Toruń.

Update of the regulations for the call for projects for the Intermodal Transport competition under the FEnIKS program
A change has been introduced in the Project Selection Regulations for FENX.05.06-IP.02-001/24 (competitive call for Priority FENX.05 Support for the Transport Sector from the ERDF, Measure FENX.05.06 Intermodal Transport) to remove information on the division of allocations between individual regions (i.e. more developed, transitional, less developed). Zyrardow railway station will change its face – thanks to European Funds
The Center for EU Transport Projects and the Polish State Railways (PKP S.A.) have signed an agreement to subsidize the comprehensive modernization of the historic railroad station in Zyrardow. The total value of the subsidy for the investment is about PLN 24.6 million net, of which 85% will be EU funds and the remainder will be PKP S.A.’s own contribution.

Częstochowa Central Railway Station with EU funding. CEUTP has signed an agreement with PKP S.A.
The Center for EU Transport Projects has signed an agreement to subsidize the reconstruction of the Częstochowa Główna railway station. The investment will receive nearly PLN 100 million from European Funds.

Transportation is for everyone. Really?
Do EU funds really build transportation accessible to everyone? The discussion at the 57th TOB meeting showed that a formal framework is not enough: accessibility is determined by the entire system – from design, through testing with real users, to measuring effects. The conclusions are concrete: mandatory pre-commissioning test walks, a standard for multi-channel passenger information and analysis of data on actual use of solutions.
