We transferred European Funds for reconstruction of Otwock and Dęblin stations
On March 2, 2026, we signed an agreement with Polskie Koleje Państwowe (Polish State Railways) (PKP S.A.) for funding of the project No . FENX.04.02-IP.02-0005/25 entitled “Construction and reconstruction of selected railroad stations in the Mazovia and Lublin provinces.” The investment received support of over PLN 34 million from the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021-2027 (FEnIKS).
Modernisation and reconstruction of almost 200 railway stations across the country are among the assumptions of PKP S.A.’s ambitious long-term investment plan. It is being implemented with a large share of EU funds and support from CEUTP. At the beginning of March this year, we awarded PLN 34,019,565.28 for the modernisation and reconstruction of the train stations in Otwock and Deblin.

Comprehensive reconstruction of the railroad station is underway as of September 2025. The historic building, erected in 1910 to a design by architect Jan Fijalkowski, is undergoing a comprehensive reconstruction that includes all floors as well as the facade and roof.
The investment includes, among other things:
- Demolition of secondary and worn-out elements and construction of new building elements,
- Eliminating architectural barriers and introducing mobility solutions such as guided paths, Braille signage and tactile plans,
- equipping the building and its surroundings with modern security systems, including, among others. monitoring,
- Construction of a parking lot with various types of parking spaces: regular parking for cars, kiss&ride, as well as for people with disabilities and cabs.
Deblin – historic train station will regain its former glory
In turn, the reconstruction of the more than 100-year-old railroad station in Deblin involves such measures as:
- Interior reconstruction with rearrangement of restrooms and travel service areas,
- Adaptation of the surrounding area (main entrance, pedestrian routes, bicycle shed),
- The renovation of the roof and the brick and wood facade,
- Replacement of roofing and parts of the trusses,
- Changing the function of selected rooms and renovating floors II and III,
- Reconstruction of the access road.
In both cities, the work is expected to last until the end of 2027.
