International cooperation

The Centre of EU Transport Projects (CUPT), as consortium leader, brought together representatives of Polish and Ukrainian institutions at the Arche Hotel to review progress to date and set the direction for further work under the EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes initiative.

A meeting of the Polish-Ukrainian consortium, coordinated by the Center for EU Transport Projects, took place in Warsaw and the surrounding area from February 17-19, 2026. The meeting was organized with the participation of key partners PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. and JSC “Ukrainian Railways” (Ukrzaliznytsia), as well as representatives of CINEA, the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, and the Ministry of Infrastructure.

One of the most important infrastructure projects has been completed in the Volyn region – a thorough renovation of the M-07 Kyiv – Kovel – Yahodyn road (towards Lublin) on the access routes to the international border crossing point Yahodyn – Dorohusk.

The Polish delegation attended the 7th Solidarity Lanes Steering Committee in Uzhhorod, Ukraine. During the event, our representatives presented information on the progress and challenges of the Solidarity Lanes road and rail projects.

On October 1, 2025, a meeting was held at the road border crossing in Dorohusk, devoted to the development of design documentation for the construction of the Car Terminal in Okopy.

On June 26, 2025, the EU Transport Projects Center (CEUTP) hosted a delegation from Ukraine. The meeting was opened by CEUTP Director Joanna Lech, who emphasized the importance of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation in the context of Ukraine’s European integration and support for transport sector reforms. She assured the delegation of CEUTP’s openness to the exchange of experiences and substantive support.

On January 28-29, 2025, a two-day meeting of a working group comprising representatives of the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA), the National Revenue Administration (KAS), Lublin Executive Board of Border Crossings (LZOPG), the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine (AgencyUA) and, of course, the Centre for EU Transport Projects was held in Lublin at the Luxor Hotel.

On November 5, 2024, a working meeting was held at the headquarters of the Centre for EU Transport Projects (CEUTP), focusing on Polish projects being implemented under the EU–Ukraine Solidarity Lanes, financed by the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).

On October 28-29, 2024, a two-day meeting of a working group composed of representatives of PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., Ukrzaliznytsia, the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, the Ministry of Infrastructure and, of course, the Center for EU Transport Projects was held in Lublin at the Luxor Hotel.

On Friday, 20 September 2024, the Center for EU Transport Projects (CEUTP) organized a specialized online training for Ukrainian beneficiaries of projects carried out under the European Commission´s initative ‘EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes’.
