CEUTP at workshop on dual-use projects and rail resilience

On June 19, 2026, the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy in Warsaw will host an expert workshop entitled. “Cooperation between the public and private sectors in dual-use projects and building resilience in the railroad system.” The event is organised jointly with the ministry and the ProKolej Foundation.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the prospects for financing dual-use projects in the next EU perspective, including under the EFICE and CEF programs, as well as to strengthen cooperation between public administration, business and the expert community in building the resilience of the railroad system.

The event program includes keynote speeches and three panel discussions on such topics as:

  • Identification of common military-civilian goals in the area of transportation
  • The role of railroad infrastructure in the security and logistics of the state
  • Responsibility of public institutions and business for the development of critical infrastructure
  • Alternative sources of financing for transport investments
  • Ensuring operational continuity through power supply and energy storage.

The Center for EU Transport Projects will be represented by Sylwia Cieślak-Wilk, deputy director of the Center. Our expert will first give a lecture, and then take part in a panel discussion on joint responsibility for the development and resilience of critical infrastructure, sharing her experience in the use of EU funds for the development of rail transport.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Online registration at the event website.
