09 June 2026 03:24We invite you to a workshop entitled. “Dual-use projects and building the resilience of the railroad system with the participation of European funds”. The organizers of the event are: Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, Center for EU Transport Projects and ProKolej Foundation. The meeting will focus on the development of dual-use (civil-military) transport infrastructure and new models for financing railroad investments.
The purpose of the meeting is to present prospects for financing dual-use projects under the next EU perspective, including the EFICE, EFEP, and CEF programs, and to discuss building the railroad system’s resilience in both infrastructural and operational dimensions. The program includes keynote speeches and three panel discussions with representatives of public administration, the military, European institutions, entrepreneurs and industry experts.
Among the topics will be:
- Identification of common military-civilian goals in the area of transportation
- The role of rail infrastructure in logistics and state security
- Alternative sources of financing for infrastructure projects
- The shared responsibility of the state and business for the development of critical infrastructure
- Power supply and energy storage as part of ensuring continuity of railroad operations.
