We know the results of the call for inter-modal transport with NRP
The list of assessed projects within the framework of the completed competition No. KPOD.09.09-IW.02-001/24 for Component “E Green, Smart Mobility” – Investment E2.1.3 inter-modal projects from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan has been approved by the Investment Implementation Authority (IIA).
Who could be supported and for what amount
Funds for investments in inter-modal terminals and the purchase of inter-modal equipment and rolling stock could be applied for:
- entrepreneurs from the Member States of the European Union who perform or intend to perform in the territory of the Republic of Poland economic activity within the scope of inter-modal transport, including operators of inter-modal terminals;
- entities providing rolling stock for inter-modal transport;
- entities managing the railway infrastructure providing direct access to the inter-modal terminals.
Competition results
Support was provided for 12 projects involving investments within inter-modal terminals and 5 projects involving the purchase of 266 units of inter-modal rolling stock. The amount of support under the call amounts to PLN 781 598 808.00, with the maximum level of support being 50% of eligible expenditure.

New COMBO passenger cars on the tracks. How European funds are changing the Polish railroad and economy
PKP Intercity is consistently modernizing its rolling stock thanks to funds from the NRP. On April 2 this year, the carrier presented the first of 50 COMBO passenger cars that will soon be put into service. This is an important stage of the CEUTP-supported project.

Lower Silesian railroad with KPO support for modernization
We have transferred over PLN 114.6 million from the National Plan for Reconstruction and Increasing Resilience for the revitalisation of sections of railroad lines 319, 326 and 341. In total, work will be carried out on more than 33 kilometres. The investment is part of a larger project to modernise railroads in Lower Silesia.
