CEUTP with the “Golden Business Compass” award
The Center for EU Transport Projects (CEUTP) has received the “Golden Business Compass” award. The award was given for special contributions to the innovative and sustainable development of the transport sector in Poland.
The award was presented on April 24 during an expert breakfast organised by CEUTP as part of the Open Railway Forum entitled “Expert Vision: Opening the Rail Passenger Market – The Future in the Hands of Researchers.” The statuette was received on behalf of CEUTP by Sylwia Cieślak-Wilk, deputy director of the Center.
Representatives of major Polish universities attended the event. The topic of the meeting was the liberalisation of railroads and the opening of the market for long-distance passenger rail transportation. Participants discussed the role of science and research in shaping future solutions for Poland’s railroads.
