OECD report on citizen participation: CEUTP experience recognised among European good practices
The Centre for EU Transport Projects (CEUTP) is among the institutions whose experience has been featured in the latest OECD report, “Citizen Participation for Better Cohesion Policy: Insights from 11 Pilot Initiatives.” Prepared in cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO), the publication showcases examples of good practices in engaging citizens in the implementation of Cohesion Policy across Europe.
The report presents a pilot project implemented by CEUTP in partnership with the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis (GZM). The initiative focused on identifying effective ways to involve citizens in transport planning and the development of sustainable mobility. Participation in the project provided an opportunity to exchange experience with partners from across Europe, test new participatory approaches, and jointly develop solutions that strengthen citizens’ involvement in decision-making processes.
The inclusion of the CEUTP project in the OECD publication confirms that the experience gained by the Centre is recognised not only in Poland but also contributes to the broader European discussion on effective citizen engagement in the planning and implementation of Cohesion Policy.
The report covers eleven pilot initiatives carried out in seven European Union countries. It presents practical experiences from public authorities and offers recommendations on designing and implementing participatory processes within Cohesion Policy.

CEUTP Hosts a TAIEX Study Visit with Representatives from Lithuania
On June 16–18, 2026, a TAIEX study visit took place at CEUTP, organized in cooperation with partners from Lithuania. The meeting focused on exchanging experiences regarding the oversight of public procurement, the audit of EU-co-financed projects, and the application of financial corrections.

Solidarity Lanes between the European Union and Ukraine – a feasibility study will be prepared
Reducing train travel times and improving capacity on the Lublin-Dorohusk section to the Polish border are the main objectives of the feasibility study, which we entrusted to IDOM. We anticipate completing the Solidarity Lanes studies in 2026. Their net value exceeds PLN 10 million. Funding is provided by the European Union through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).

On 19 May, workshops on the Strategic Public Procurement project were held in Craiova (Romania), organized by the South-West Oltenia Regional Development Agency (Romania). The event gathered approximately 60 participants representing various contracting authorities in Romania.
