Millions for trams: results of NRP competition
List of assessed projects under the completed competition No. KPOD.10.02.IW.02-001/24 for Component “E Green, Smart Mobility” – Investment: E1.2.1 Zero-emission urban public transport (trams) from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan has received approval from the Investment Implementation Authority (IIA).
Who could be supported
Funding for the purchase of new tramway rolling stock could be applied for by public transport organisers and operators.
Competition results
Following an analysis of the submitted documentation, 4 out of the 12 submitted projects received the number of points needed to qualify for support:
- City of Bydgoszcz (PLN 43,887,642.28);
- Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne Sp. z o.o. in Wrocław (PLN 202,987,447.60);
- MPK Poznań Sp. z o.o. (PLN 215,686,740.89);
- Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne S.A. in Kraków (PLN 127,931,256.00).
A further 5 projects have received positive assessments – however, at this point they have not qualified for support due to exceeding the vehicle count indicator (88 units).
The total value of the support will be PLN 590,493,086.77, thanks to which 88 units of new tramway rolling stock will be purchased.
