A delegation from Ukraine at the CEUTP
The Ukrainian delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the Regional Development Agency and representatives of regional administration.
The main aspects related to the process of applying for EU funds under the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020 were presented during the meeting. At the explicit request of the Ukrainian delegation, a lot of attention was paid to competition projects, selection criteria, the rules of organizing competitions and monitoring project preparation and implementation. Examples of implemented competition projects and good practices resulting from their implementation were identified.
In addition, the main assumptions concerning the preparation of cost-benefit analyses were discussed, including the scope of the documentation to be analysed and the aspects of project control, including the control of procurement procedures of beneficiaries of EU funds. The seminar met with a keen interest of the representatives of the Ukrainian delegation.
The meeting at the CEUTP was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Development, as part of a series of workshops on the instruments for implementing strategies. Their aim was to deepen the knowledge on strategic development management and the mechanisms of regional policy implementation.
