Delegation from Tajikistan visiting CEUTP
On 12 May, CEUTP hosted a delegation of public administration representatives from Tajikistan. Among the participants there were experts from ministries responsible for and coordinating the process of managing public investments in the country, including the Ministry of Development and Trade, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice and the Chancellery of the President.
The meeting at the CEUTP was a part of a several-day study visit of Tajik experts to Poland organised by DS. Consulting as part of a project carried out for the World Bank.
The meeting was attended by CUTP experts, who shared our experience in supporting Polish transport investments financed from European Funds.
Our good practices and know-how were shared by representatives of the Analysis and Partnership Projects Unit, the Evaluation Team, the Analysis and Costs Unit and the Environment Unit operating within the Department of Transport Analysis and representatives of the Central IT System Team.
The guests were very interested in the topics raised during the meeting. Among other things, there were questions about cooperation with the local authorities in Poland, as well as the types and rules of implementation of programmes from which transport projects are financed in Poland, assessment of applications for funding and verification of project documentation.
We hope that the outcome of the discussion will strengthen the process of infrastructure development in Tajikistan.
