Publication of CUPT experts in the monograph of the Warsaw University of Technology

We are pleased to announce that an article authored by the staff of the Center for EU Transport Projects has been published in the prestigious monograph “Transport Systems in the Era of Automation and Digitalization,” published by the Department of Transport of the Warsaw University of Technology.

The publication included an article titled “The impact of the 4th railroad package on the organization and competitiveness of the rail passenger transport market in Poland / The impact of the 4th railway package on the organization and competitiveness of the rail passenger transport market in Poland” by Krzysztof Rodziewicz and Edyta Boratyńska-Karpiej.

The text is an important contribution to the debate on the direction of the development of the rail passenger transport market in Poland. The authors analyze the consequences of the implementation of the Fourth Railway Package, pointing out, among other things, changes in the organization of the market, the level of competition, the role of public institutions and the potential effects on passengers and carriers. The publication is part of CUPT’s previous efforts to support modern and sustainable transport.

We sincerely congratulate the authors and thank the editors of the monograph for the opportunity to participate in this valuable scientific project.
