FEnIKS Monitoring Committee approved criteria for a new type of project in civil aviation
The FEnIKS Monitoring Committee has cleared the way for financing educational campaigns for aviation safety. During its 19th meeting in Katowice, the criteria for a new type of project in Measure FENX.04.03, for which CEUTPis responsible, were unanimously approved.
The Center for EU Transport Projects acts as an intermediary institution in the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment (FEnIKS 2021-2027) program for transport projects, including Measure FENX.04.03 Aviation infrastructure in TEN-T. This means that CUPT is responsible for issuing calls for proposals, evaluating projects and supervising their implementation and settlement.
Monitoring Committee relies on good practices
On April 23, 2026, the FEnIKS Monitoring Committee unanimously adopted specific project selection criteria for a new type of support under Measure FENX.04.03. These are projects involving information and education campaigns on raising the safety culture in civil aviation and promoting good practices in the field of air transport, including unmanned aviation. The adopted criteria define the conditions that a project must meet in order to receive EU funding under FEnIKS.
Security awareness
The adoption of the criteria is a key procedural step prior to the announcement of the call for proposals. With this decision, civil and unmanned aviation operators will be able to apply for funding for campaigns targeting both passengers and operators of unmanned systems. The aim of such projects is to strengthen safety awareness and promote responsible behavior in the aviation sector – as a complement to the infrastructure activities financed under the same Measure.
Documents adopted by the FEnIKS Monitoring Committee, including project selection criteria, are available on the FEnIKS program website: feniks.gov.pl
