Invalidation of the proceedings 5.4 Railways, urban railways and railway safety
Under measure FENX.05.04 “Urban railway and railway safety, in the scope of the construction, reconstruction and modernization of railway lines” (recruitment for non-phased projects implemented by PKP PLK S.A.), which began on November 30, 2023 and ended on December 31, 2024, no applications for project funding were received. Referring to the provisions of the Implementation Act, art. 58 sec. 1 item 1 of the Act of April 28, 2022, the competent institution, i.e. IP FEnIKS, is obliged to invalidate the project selection procedure if no applications are submitted by the deadline for submitting funding applications.

New stations, better accessibility. EU millions for modernization of railroads in northern Poland
Four cities, one goal: a modern, accessible and comfortable railroad. Koszalin, Slupsk, Stargard and Gdynia Chylonia were among the beneficiaries of another major PKP S.A. project that received support from European Funds.

We transferred European Funds for reconstruction of Otwock and Dęblin stations
On March 2, 2026, we signed an agreement with Polskie Koleje Państwowe (Polish State Railways) (PKP S.A.) for funding of the project No. FENX.04.02-IP.02-0005/25 entitled “Construction and reconstruction of selected railroad stations in the Mazovia and Lublin provinces.” The investment received support in the amount of more than PLN 34 million.

Reconstruction of the Jagiellonów Roundabout – an EU investment that will change the center of Bydgoszcz
The Jagiellonów Roundabout – one of the most important intersections in Bydgoszcz – will undergo a comprehensive reconstruction that will significantly improve the comfort and safety of movement in the heart of the city. For the implementation of this investment, we have provided PLN 27.6 million from the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment.

Construction of the S19 expressway between Rzeszów Południe and Babica with EU funding
The project includes the construction of a 10.27-kilometre new section of the S19 along with a tunnel, the “Babica” interchange, MOPs, engineering facilities, safety systems and pro-environmental solutions. The General Directorate of National Roads and Highways received over PLN 1.49 billion in EU support for its implementation.
