CEUTP at the Twinning Conference 2024 – sharing experience and good practices
On 12 December 2024, the Twinning Conference 2024 was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw, bringing together representatives of Polish institutions involved in the implementation of Twinning and TAIEX programmes. The Centre for EU Transport Projects was honoured to actively participate in this inspiring event.
During the Conference, experts presented their experienc, discussing various aspects of international cooperation. Mr Wojciech Gołębiowski, Coordinator of the Twinning and TAIEX programmes at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, opened the meeting by summarising the activities of the Polish administration under the aforementioned programmes and presenting the latest initiatives to be implemented in 2024.
Ms Martyna Derszniak-Noirjean, Director of the International Cooperation Office of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (OCCP), discussed the challenges of combining development cooperation programmes and project management in her institution, as well as her experience in using the various programmes available to support international projects. In turn, Mr Dawid Ciupak from The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARMA) presented practical tips on building and managing consortia – key elements of successful implementation of twinning projects.
A special highlight of the programme was the speech of Ms Edyta Jaszczuk from CEUTP, who in her presentation entitled ‘Experience of working as an RTA in Azerbaijan – good practices for future RTAs. Organization of the Twinning/TAIEX projects in CEUTP’ shared her conclusions from her role as Resident Twinning Advisor in Azerbaijan and also the experience of CEUTP in implementing international projects. An important part of the speech was the presentation of practical solutions applied in the face of problems arising from geopolitical conditions. Her presentation provided valuable insights for future RTAs and inspired participants to intensify their international cooperation activities.
In the concluding part, participants had the opportunity to take part in an open discussion, moderated by Mr Wojciech Gołębiowski. It addressed issues of cooperation between Polish institutions, EU countries and the European Commission, as well as prospects for the development of the Twinning and TAIEX programmes.
The conference attracted 63 participants who enthusiastically shared their experiences.
CEUTP would like to thank all the speakers and organisers for creating a space for the exchange of knowledge and inspiration, which will be a valuable support in the implementation of future transport projects.

DG REGIO Peer2Peer Public Procurement: third meeting in 2026 with in the framework of international cooperation
On 14 May, the third online meeting in 2026 of the DG REGIO Peer2Peer Public Procurement group took place, with the participation of an expert from Center for EU Transport Projects (CEUTP) and approximately 30 representatives of institutions from EU Member States involved in the management and control of EU-funded projects.

PSO Contracts in Rail Transport: Experience Exchange Within a TAIEX Expert Mission
The expert mission was carried out in cooperation with the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG ENEST) of the European Commission, acting on behalf of the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO). The TAIEX-REGIO Peer2Peer programme supports the implementation of EU regional and urban policy through the exchange of knowledge and experience between Member States.
