Government delegation from Moldova at the CEUTP
On 20 June, the Centre for EU Transport Projects hosted a delegation of public administration representatives from Moldova. Among the meeting participants were experts from institutions responsible for coordinatiion the process of managing transport investments in the country, including the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development and the State Road Administration. One of the delegation members was Ms Lilia Dabija – the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Republic of Moldova.
The meeting at CEUTP was part of a several-day study visit of Moldovan experts to Poland organised by the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure.
The meeting was attended by CEUTP experts, who presented the mission and scope of activities of our institution and shared our experience in supporting the implementation of Polish transport investments financed from the European Funds.
Our good practices and know-how were shared by representatives of the management of the Department of Transport Analysis (DAT) and representatives of the Unit of Analysis and Partnership Projects functioning within DAT.
Guests were very interested in the topics raised during the meeting. Among others, there were questions about the functioning of our institution and its genesis, as well as more specific ones concerning, for example, the Integrated Traffic Model.
We hope that the issues discussed will support further development of road infrastructure in Moldova, and that the meeting will result in a future cooperation between our institutions.
