Call for proposals under the bus competition launched

Support can be given to projects concerning the purchase of zero-emission bus fleets (electric, hydrogen) together with the necessary charging/refuelling infrastructure (if applicable), for:

  1. Service of newly created out-of-town bus routes;
  2. Replacement of bus rolling stock on existing sub-urban bus routes threatened with closure (due to obsolete rolling stock and/or route deficits).

All applications for the project, traditionally, can be submitted via the application WOD2021 from today – 09.09.2024 until 04.10.2024. The order in which applications for support are submitted does not affect the results of the evaluation.

Who can apply for support

Under the terms of the competition, potential applicants can be:

  • public transport organisers: provinces, districts, associations of districts, district-municipal associations, inter-municipal associations, communes;
  • public transport operators.

Funding pool for support

The amount of funds earmarked to support projects under the competition is PLN 590,964,198. However, the final available pool will depend on the current EUR/PLN exchange rate at the stage of concluding contracts for the inclusion of the project in the development plan.

The maximum level of support at project level is 95% of eligible expenditure.

Lower Silesian railroad with KPO support for modernization

We have transferred over PLN 114.6 million from the National Plan for Reconstruction and Increasing Resilience for the revitalisation of sections of railroad lines 319, 326 and 341. In total, work will be carried out on more than 33 kilometres. The investment is part of a larger project to modernise railroads in Lower Silesia.
