11 June 2026 | Integrated Traffic Model

The new National Transport Model (ZMR) website is now available!

We cordially invite you to visit the newly opened website devoted entirely to the tool – National Transport Model.

The National Transport Model (ZMR) is a comprehensive tool designed to support transport planning both at the strategic level with a nationwide scope, as well as at the regional and local levels.

The current version of ZMR 4.0 includes a baseline model for 2023, along with forecast models for 2030, 2040, and 2050, illustrating expected passenger traffic, including truck traffic. These forecast traffic models can be used for purposes such as planning transportation networks, making investment decisions, and developing transportation policy. One of the key applications of ZMR is developing forecast scenarios and variants, as well as analyzing passenger flows in both individual and public transport.

The website dedicated to the National Transport Model (ZMR) contains detailed information related to its development and construction. It also presents forecast results and examples of how the tool and data are used. In addition to current information related to the National Transport Model, the ZMR website also provides the dates of upcoming user meetings. We also provide our publications containing tips and best practices for using the ZMR, as well as insights into traffic modeling and the development of professional planning tools.

For more information about ZMR and how to obtain it, please visit the new ZMR website!
