CEF2: 3rd MilMob call for proposals
The European Commission has announced the third call for proposals from the transport sector under the Facility “Connecting Europe” – Military Mobility. The competition will be open until September 21, 2023.
The budget of the competition is EUR 790 million, and the level of co-financing – up to 50% of eligible costs. If the full pool of funds is awarded, it will be the last opportunity to obtain funding under this priority. Co-financing will be provided to projects consisting in adapting the TEN-T network to dual civil and military use as part of military mobility. The competition documents were published on the website of the European Commission.
Competition details
Two types of projects are possible:
- studio projects (implementation period 2-3 years),
- mixed projects (documentation and works) or works (implementation period 4-5 years).
Projects must be completed by December 31, 2027.
The competition is coordinated by the Department of Infrastructure Programs of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy. Applications, before being submitted to the European Commission, must be approved by the Member State, i.e. the above-mentioned MDFRP ministry and by the General Staff of the Polish Army. Applications not approved by both institutions will not be assessed by the European Commission.
As part of the pre-selection conducted by the MDFRP, all entities interested in participating in the competition should provide the ministry with information on the projects proposed for the competition on the form of a index card. Project proposals should be submitted to the Department of Infrastructure Programs at the MDFRP at the address cef@mfipr.gov.pl by June 2, 2023 at the latest.
