Call for proposals related to urban transport projects launched

We are launching a call for proposals for funding under the non-competitive FEnIKS Activity FENX.03.01 Urban transport. The application slot is open until 28 June 2024.

An amount of PLN 7,830,000,000 is earmarked for the funding of projects under this Activity. The maximum allowable level of EU funding for eligible project expenditure is 85%.

Projects eligible for funding should relate to:

  • linear infrastructure investments: rail infrastructure (tram, underground), BRT systems;
  • infrastructure investment: interchanges (including P&R parking outside city centres);
  • infrastructure investments: in the field of ITS (urban ITS systems, IT solutions, ticketing and passenger information systems);
  • rolling stock (trams, underground lines);
  • Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans.

The call for proposals related to funding includes phased projects (PHASE II) from the 2014-2020 perspective also.

Projects can combine various elements from the list above.

The list of participants within a given call for proposals is also strictly defined. Funding can be applied by:

  • local government units and their forms of cooperation (unions, associations, contracts), including metropolitan unions;
  • public transport organisers and operators.

Support is dedicated to governorship cities and other cities covered by the ZIT instrument in the 2014-2020 programming period and their functional areas, excluding the area of Eastern Poland.

How to apply?

The request can only be made via: https://wod.cst2021.gov.pl. The deadline for submissions is 28 June 2024 at 23:59. We will no longer accept applications after this date.

The application should meet all the formal requirements and contain all the documentation required under the call for proposals regulations. The regulations and other call documentation can be found on the dedicated page.

Questions and concerns can be submitted until 14 June 2024. All questions received after the indicated deadline will remain unanswered.

Update of the regulations for the call for projects for the Intermodal Transport competition under the FEnIKS program

A change has been introduced in the Project Selection Regulations for FENX.05.06-IP.02-001/24 (competitive call for Priority FENX.05 Support for the Transport Sector from the ERDF, Measure FENX.05.06 Intermodal Transport) to remove information on the division of allocations between individual regions (i.e. more developed, transitional, less developed).
