International cooperation

On October 1, 2025, a meeting was held at the road border crossing in Dorohusk, devoted to the development of design documentation for the construction of the Car Terminal in Okopy.

Representatives of the Centre for EU Transport Projects (CUPT) took part in a Polish-Swedish meeting dedicated to the exchange of experience in implementing the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).

After two months of conceptual work during the summer break, the Peer2Peer (P2P) communities, coordinated by the European Commission are resuming their activities.

On June 26, 2025, the EU Transport Projects Center (CEUTP) hosted a delegation from Ukraine. The meeting was opened by CEUTP Director Joanna Lech, who emphasized the importance of Polish-Ukrainian cooperation in the context of Ukraine’s European integration and support for transport sector reforms. She assured the delegation of CEUTP’s openness to the exchange of experiences and substantive support.

From June 23 to June 27, 2025 , CEUTP hosted a TAIEX study visit for a delegation from Moldova. The intensive program aimed to practically familiarize representatives from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development (MIRD) and the State Road Administration (SRA) of the Republic of Moldova with the Polish system of road and road transport management, with a particular emphasis on practical aspects.

CEUTP concluded its series of three TAIEX-REGIO online events with an expert mission dedicated to sustainable transport infrastructure financing models. The final meeting focused on Austria’s railway transport experience, with key contributions from SCHIG experts.

Within the TAIEX-REGIO initiative, CEUTP organized a two-day online workshop dedicated to transport infrastructure financing models in Spain. Experts from Spain shared knowledge on strategic planning, funding sources, and transport project management, offering valuable insights for Poland.

On March 25, 2025, the Centre for EU Transport Projects (CUPT) hosted the first in a series of specialized Twinning trainings, organized by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On Wednesday, February 19th, an international online meeting of the Public Procurement group was held (as part of the work of Peer2Peer Communities DG REGIO).

On January 28-29, 2025, a two-day meeting of a working group comprising representatives of the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA), the National Revenue Administration (KAS), Lublin Executive Board of Border Crossings (LZOPG), the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine (AgencyUA) and, of course, the Centre for EU Transport Projects was held in Lublin at the Luxor Hotel.

On 12 December 2024, the Twinning Conference 2024 was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HQ in Warsaw, bringing together representatives of Polish institutions involved in the Twinning and TAIEX programmes. The CEUTP was honoured to actively participate in this inspiring event.

On November 5, 2024, a working meeting was held at the headquarters of the Centre for EU Transport Projects (CEUTP), focusing on Polish projects being implemented under the EU–Ukraine Solidarity Lanes, financed by the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).
