We are pleased to inform you that the second mission within Action 2.5.1 of the Twinning Project “Increasing Road Safety in Azerbaijan” has been successfully completed.

Within 20th-22nd of November the CEUTP hosted a three-day expert seminar on the area of approach to indexation with inflation clauses and detection of infringements in contracts for transport investment projects, organized in cooperation with the Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument of the European Commission (TAIEX).

On October 24-27, the second mission under Activity 1.2.1 within the framework of the twinning project “Increasing Road Safety in Azerbaijan” took place and it was focused on a functional analysis of transport sector institutions responsible for road safety.

CEUTP participated in the international TAIEX workshop on environmental impact assessments of planned investments on Natura 2000 areas.

CEUTP assists Croatian administration in developing audit procedures for EU Projects.

This was the main theme of the workshop co-organized by CUPT and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy as part of the “Peer2Peer Community on Citizen Participation” initiative. The meeting took place online on October 17, 2023.

We are pleased to share the success of a recent mission within the project “Increasing road safety in Azerbaijan” focused on human resources development in Azerbaijan, aimed at improving road safety throughout the country.

The second study visit within the framework of the project “Improving road safety in Azerbaijan” is behind us.

The first mission after the holiday period took place in Baku on 4-7 September. The mission included the identification of databases of various institutions in Azerbaijan related to transport, including road safety.

As part of its activities to increase public participation in the implementation of the Cohesion Policy, the CEUTP, together with its partners, “FADO” Social Cooperative and Metropolis GZM, continues the implementation of the second international project on social participation.

Know-how from CEUTP used in the work of the weTHINK Group. Initiative GmbH during the conference entitled „Sustainability and Digitalization in Public Infrastructure Procurement Conference”.

On 13-14 July 2023, another mission took place as part of the twinning project entitled ‘Increasing Road Safety in Azerbaijan’. The main objective of this mission was to select given road sections in Azerbaijan and to identify the types of these inspections as part of the ongoing project.
