On June 19, 2026, the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy in Warsaw will host an expert workshop entitled. “Dual-use projects and building the resilience of the railroad system with the participation of European funds”. The event is organized also jointly with CEUPT and the ProKolej Foundation.

From 6 to 8 May 2026, the Centre for EU Transport Projects (CUPT) organised an international event dedicated to public participation in infrastructure projects. Over three days, experts from Poland and several European Union countries discussed how to effectively conduct dialogue with local communities — and how to prevent conflicts before they escalate into crises.

General Directorate of National Roads and Highways collected 750 million zlotys of funding from the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021-2027 (EFICE) program for the construction of more than 50 km of the S10 expressway between Bydgoszcz and Toruń.

A change has been introduced in the Project Selection Regulations for FENX.05.06-IP.02-001/24 (competitive call for Priority FENX.05 Support for the Transport Sector from the ERDF, Measure FENX.05.06 Intermodal Transport) to remove information on the division of allocations between individual regions (i.e. more developed, transitional, less developed). The Center for EU Transport Projects and the Polish State Railways (PKP S.A.) have signed an agreement to subsidize the comprehensive modernization of the historic railroad station in Zyrardow. The total value of the subsidy for the investment is about PLN 24.6 million net, of which 85% will be EU funds and the remainder will be PKP S.A.’s own contribution.

The Center for EU Transport Projects has signed an agreement to subsidize the reconstruction of the Częstochowa Główna railway station. The investment will receive nearly PLN 100 million from European Funds.

Do EU funds really build transportation accessible to everyone? The discussion at the 57th TOB meeting showed that a formal framework is not enough: accessibility is determined by the entire system – from design, through testing with real users, to measuring effects. On August 26, 2025, the Centre for EU Transport Projects, acting as the Intermediate Body for Measure 8.1 of the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment programme for 2021-2027, approved the positive result of the evaluation of the project selected in a non-competitive manner entitled “FEnIKS Technical Assistance for GKZ for 2025”, implemented by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, as the General Conservator of Monuments, for the total amount of PLN 4,977,120.12.
