EU support for renovation of railway station in Zyrardow granted
The Center for EU Transport Projects has positively assessed the application of Polskie Koleje Państwowe S.A. for the reconstruction of the historic railroad station in Zyrardow. The investment will receive support from the European Funds for Eastern Poland (FEPW) 2021-2027 program.

Nearly PLN 900 million from the European Funds for Eastern Poland (EFEP) programme for a new railway priority
The European Funds for Eastern Poland Programme for 2021–2027 (EFEP) is supposed to have two new priorities, i.e. support for military and civilian railway infrastructure and housing. These are changes assumed in the government draft resolution, approved by the Council of Ministers at the end of the year.

Project no. The 10th meeting of the EFEP Monitoring Committee: changes to the programme, new objectives and defence priorities
The discussion about the progress of programme implementation, as well as the changes planned for the second phase of the mid-term review, were the main topics of the 10th meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the European Funds for Eastern Poland 2021–2027 programme, which took place on 15 October 2025 in Warsaw. The participants approved new areas of support, including the priorities regarding civil and military mobility, as well as the development of social housing.

The European Funds are transforming Polish railways – the modernised main station in Rzeszów is now open for all travellers
The 167-year-old Rzeszów Główny railway station building, thanks to a comprehensive renovation, has now regained its modernist appearance, once again becoming a comfortable space for passengers. Thanks to the European Funds, a new, modern transport hub has been created: Rzeszowskie Centrum Komunikacyjne (Rzeszów Communication Center), which – aside from the renovated station building – now also includes a reconstructed railway station, a modern underground car park, as well as public transport stops.

We have signed an agreement on co-financing the revitalisation of the railway line No 108 Jasło – Nowy Zagórz
The Centre for EU Transport Projects concluded an agreement with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. for the co-financing of the project “Revitalisation of the railway line No 108 on the Jasło – Nowy Zagórz section along with the construction of the Jedlicze – Szebnie junction.” The investment will be supported by the European Funds for Eastern Poland 2021-2027 programme in a value exceeding PLN 1.2 billion.

European Commission unblocks nearly PLN 600 billion for Poland
The European Commission today issued a decision confirming Poland’s compliance with the basic condition for the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights. Previously considered unfulfilled for both FEnIKS and FEPW, it blocked expenditure reimbursements under all Partnership Contract programmes.
