Convenient connection to Ukraine and moving transit traffic out of Chelm – these are among the most important benefits of the construction of the S12 expressway section. The investment has just been awarded nearly PLN 225 million from the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021-2027 (EFICE).

The project includes the construction of a 10.27-kilometre new section of the S19 along with a tunnel, the “Babica” interchange, MOPs, engineering facilities, safety systems and pro-environmental solutions. The General Directorate of National Roads and Highways received over PLN 1.49 billion in EU support for its implementation.

From the beginning of July 2025, further projects of strategic significance in the areas of sustainable transport, road infrastructure and urban mobility received co-financing from the European Funds.

Poland to receive over EUR 450 million from the European Funds to spend on railways and ports – including Rail Baltica, the Katowice-Ostrava high-speed rail and the modernization of access to the Port of Świnoujście.

PLN 765 million from European Funds will support the construction of a new A2 section of over 63 kilometres, which will connect Siedlce and Biała Podlaska. The expansion of the A2 highway is one of the key infrastructure projects in eastern Poland, which will contribute to improving transportation accessibility, road safety and economic development in the region.

More good news for drivers! We have signed funding contracts for as many as three projects implemented by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. European funds will help to finalise the construction of the missing sections of the S7 (Miechów – Szczepanowice and Płońsk – Czosnów) and the creation of the Tricity metropolitan ring-road.

We signed two contracts with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. These will be the first NRP funds earmarked for the modernisation of the Polish roads.
