Huge support from the European Funds for improvement of railway safety
Over PLN 442 million from the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment 2021–2027 (FEnIKS) programme will support the development of a modern ERTMS/ETCS system in six voivodships. We have concluded a financing agreement with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. on the last day of 2025.

Nearly PLN 900 million from the European Funds for Eastern Poland (EFEP) programme for a new railway priority
The European Funds for Eastern Poland Programme for 2021–2027 (EFEP) is supposed to have two new priorities, i.e. support for military and civilian railway infrastructure and housing. These are changes assumed in the government draft resolution, approved by the Council of Ministers at the end of the year.

European Funds for railway: train station in Skierniewice after modernisation
Polskie Koleje Państwowe has completed the renovation of the train station in Skierniewice. The investment has received support from the European Funds via CEUTP. In December, trains will be coming back to the Giżycko – Korsze route.
