Project for the modernisation of railway line no. 8 selected for funding
Project no. FEPW.04.02‑IP.02‑0002/25 titled “Prace na linii kolejowej nr 8 na odcinku Skarżysko‑Kamienna – Kielce – Kozłów, etap I: odcinek Skarżysko‑Kamienna – Tumlin” (“Works on railway line no. 8 on the Skarżysko-Kamienna – Kielce – Kozłów section, stage 1: Skarżysko-Kamienna – Tumlin section”) has been selected for funding under the European Funds for Eastern Poland (EFEP) programme.

European Funds for railway: train station in Skierniewice after modernisation
Polskie Koleje Państwowe has completed the renovation of the train station in Skierniewice. The investment has received support from the European Funds via CEUTP. The renovated building is comfortable and meets all current passenger service standards, including when it comes to people with special needs.

Trains are coming back to the Giżycko – Korsze route: modernisation of line no. 38 with the support from the European Funds is almost complete
In December, trains will be coming back to the Giżycko – Korsze route. As a result of the investment of PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., co-financed from the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment (FEnIKS), residents and tourists will enjoy faster, safer and more eco-friendly travels.

CEUTP grants over PLN 870 million from NRRP for a modern rolling stock for the regions
Support from the European Funds was granted to: Koleje Dolnośląskie (Lower Silesian Railways), Koleje Śląskie (Silesian Railways) and Śląskie Voivodship. The amount of funding exceeds PLN 870 million, which will cover the purchase costs of modern electric trains for regional transport.

Over PLN 76.8 million from NRRP for modernisation of line no. 250
We granted PKP Szybka Kolej Miejska w Trójmieście Sp. z o.o. over PLN 76.8 million from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The funds will be used for the development of railway line no. 250, which the residents of Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia use daily.

PKP, with the support from the European Funds, sets out towards stations in Łódzkie Voivodship
On 20 October this year, we signed a co-financing agreement with PKP S.A. to fund a project titled “Budowa i przebudowa wybranych dworców kolejowych w województwie łódzkim (Gałkówek, Koluszki, Skierniewice)” (Construction and renovation of selected railway stations in Łódzkie Voivodships (Gałkówek, Koluszki, Skierniewice)).

Over a billion zlotys from the European Funds for the development of railway and sustainable mobility – we have signed subsequent co-financing agreements
Thanks to the support from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), as well as the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment, Poland and Polish railway will receive over PLN 1 billion, which will improve safety, travel comfort, as well as development of low-emission transport.
