Dual-use infrastructure is becoming one of the pillars of transportation resilience to crises – from extreme weather to geopolitical threats. The webinar “Resilience in Motion” by CUPT’s Transport Research Observatory showed how to combine everyday civil functions with security needs, and what lessons can be learned for investment planning in Poland.

The project includes the construction of a 10.27-kilometre new section of the S19 along with a tunnel, the “Babica” interchange, MOPs, engineering facilities, safety systems and pro-environmental solutions. The General Directorate of National Roads and Highways received over PLN 1.49 billion in EU support for its implementation.
